Mermaids...

While spamming pics I forgot this one as I didn't want to post my Queen Mary pics, I just stuck those on my actual website misc gallery mostly.   But I wanted to post this one  and forgot, so here it is.  A mermaid dinner announcement for the QM launch.  I loved this picture and made Brian snap a pic of it.  Of course like most things there it is protected by glass, hence the glare.  He didn't understand why I wanted a picture of it.   For some reason he thinks that mermaid I did is better.  He said the same thing when I oohed and aaahed over the drawing in Starbucks of one of their mermaids (an older more complete drawing than what is on their cups now).  Not sure why he thinks mine is better than the clearly superior ones when he's an artist but I suspect he likes the chest on mine :P

Also not sure why I suddenly like mermaid drawings.  Still angels and faeries are best.  And no interest in mermaid stuff beyond drawings and paintings.  But drawings and paintings of them, I seems to love lately.

Also I got three new pics of Mijn Favoriet!  w00t!  And I will still be signing most of my journal entries with a nice wannabe Dutchie I love you all... but now that I know it's acceptable to shorten it to just Ik hou van jullie, I'm dropping the allemaal.  I kind of suspected I could before but I double checked with Mijn Favoriet and he said yeah just type the shorter one.  Now why didn't the other Dutchie tell me this when he first taught me that way way way back when I asked him how to say I love you all?  sheesh.   And I kept my promise to myself and started reading... ok fine... skimming that Dutch tutorial site.  I knew most of the intro stuff... most.  From Dutch to English.  Some from English to Dutch.  Not enough.  Must try more.  But I did start.. again.
