Wasted vote?
Edwards dropped out :( Ok... so I knew he had no chance against the media driven free publicity that is Obama VS Clinton. But I still hoped somehow he'd have a chance. Now, I voted early (by mail) for the "super Tuesday" elections. I've made it clear on here I voted Edwards. I've been trying to decide if this means my vote is wasted since he's not IN the race any longer. Therefore, my vote as it is counted is for someone not running.
I've decided it's not wasted. I voted for who I truly believe deserved my vote. Obama is a brilliant speaker who makes people get involved who wouldn't otherwise. Clinton is a political powerhouse. They get all of the press. They're who people know. It was always going to come down to them on the Democratic side. I still think Edwards was the best candidate. So I voted what I believe is right even if he's no longer a candidate.
Now in the general election, it doesn't matter to me if Clinton or Obama is on the Democratic ticket I'll vote either as all of the Republicans scare me. Though McCain is looking like he'll be the nominee and he would have scared me the least.... you know before doing something dumb like turning the Beach Boys Barbara Ann song into Bomb Iran...
In fact Edwards tried the talk about the issues route and got nowhere. Clearly dirty politics is the only way to win. So Dem leaders take notes here: if McCain becomes the Republican nominee just run a commercial of him singing that with a line asking if that's who America wants as their next president.

I cannot and will not vote for Hillary, she is not a political powerhouse she is a raging, sneaky, lying, evil, conniving bitch. If she and Obama ran together I would vote for Huckabee before I would them, even though I like Obama, and that is saying something....
Obama and Hillary will not be on the ticket together they seem to despise one other.
Also, it surprises me that a music video from 1984 can still cause commotion...
