What's wrong with this picture?
I'll tell you what's wrong with this picture! Two things:
1. There is water on the window and we didn't go through a car wash! WTF? The sky is crying :( What does that mean exactly? This is California... Southern California... In early October... Umm... huh? It POURED. Weather.com said, at the time, it was "cloudy". We even confused the weather people. No one believes it rains here, not even the experts :P
2. Look at that price... $3.53 9/10 When did that happen? I predicted we'd hit $5 and now we're almost down to $3.50. According to AAA the national average today is $3.547. How can I be in West LA and have LOWER than national average? I'm confused. But apparently the economy tanking is good, somehow, for California's gas prices? We'll need all of the good news we can get. California is broke. No really, Arnold's letter begging the federal gov't for money here, we need bailing out too it seems. They've already been cutting jobs and programs here, we're screwed. The economic crisis hit my state hard.
In other California news, three wintness say light was green during Metrolink crash. Or... Engineer texting and ran red light?

I paid $3.34 a gal yesterday, I refuse to be frog soup'd by feeling'blessed' to pay 'only $3.34' I remember paying $.19/gal , I could buy 9 gal of gas for an hours wages.... now an hour's wages buys me 3 gal. on a good day and I work 2 jobs to keep from being homeless.
BTW...California is usually broke, they frequently borrow money from banks. They are now trying to get it from the government because the interest rate would be lower. How horrible is that? Lets not borrow from banks like everyone else. We can get a lower rate by putting the loan on the US taxpayers.
I dunno wtf if going on with California, really, so over my head this financial stuff but I know they cut a ton of jobs and programs already, UCLA and other big schools, etc all say we're broke and hit hardest by all of this financial stuff. And now in LA another strike possible. Ugh.
