She can't win with her fanatical base alone. She apparently either doesn't know this or thinks we'll forget that she KEEPS doing it? Either way, dumb. I won't forget. I've lost count of the Hollywood / California, etc etc comments, but there's been enough of them that I'm so beyond insulted that even if she could convince me that her crazy far right religious George Bush like politics wouldn't be an issue for me, I'd NEVER vote for her. I don't appreciate being insulted by someone too stupid to even answer simple questions like "what do you read?".
I really like the part in her speech about how the press lies and how in honor of the troops they should stop. I bet she means the ones who keep saying Obama's birth certificate isn't real... ohh wait, those are the same ones who support her, so probably not those ones...
I was telling Mijn Favoriet about how old school comics were soooo full of propaganda that it wasn't even funny. Stuff we'd never really let the get away with today. So then I introduced him to SuperDickery... He found some winners there, but that whole site is pretty much win or fail depending on how you look at it.

IKEA window shopping:
I have discovered the joys of IKEA!!! And no, I'm not even being sarcastic. We've picked out a bed for the new apartment (we don't have a headboard and decided it's time to get one) and the dresser to go with it. I'm deciding between two desks -- which I choose will depend on a few things like if the one I prefer will fit in the dining room (aka my office) without taking up too much room and if I'll still have room for shelves.

I keep feeling better then little sick again, then better, come on cold of mine, just get it over with already.
Bad computer:
Computer trying to die again. Laptop hard drive started to sound about as good as the old water heater did before it died. Turned it off for awhile, sounds ok'ish for now. Furniture comes first so no computer money in budget. Got the tablet pc as back up but would like a real laptop as main machine. Brian thinks I should go Mac. Hmm I'll have $100 in paypal soon, guess I can save that maybe by the end of the year PayPal will be built up enough for that.
Damn silly games:
Ok I admit it, I'm hooked on a few of those silly "apps" games everyone spams with on MySpace, so if you play those and we're not already friends on MySpace, feel free to add me and tell me which you play -- I have Bloodlines, Vampires, Mafia Wars, Heroes vs. Villains, Pirates, and Word Challenge installed though I basically only play Bloodlines and Vampires seriously and do occasionally install others, accept invites, then uninstall them so others get their clan/team/whatever counts up.
Art:
Drew a new cartoon'y girl and for once no smart ass comments from Brian. Usually he just says something like "Eh cute but needs bigger boobs" even if it's just a face, like my last faerie one. This time he just said "Oh, she's cute" and "nice shade of red". This time it was a paper / pen drawing though and I wasn't planning on doing it digital. Changed my mind and still working on both pen and digital versions. Girl part is done but conflicted on what to do with background so nothing to post yet.
Sleep:
That's what I should try to do soon. We didn't get grocery shopping done today and I'm out of soy milk, coffee, etc. And gonna go to Target to get Rubbermaid tubs so I can start packing. 3 weeks to go and with the MS and cold and stuff I'll be a slacker or I'll be sorry if I try to push myself too hard.
