24 hours

I've been up for 24 hours now. Ugh. MS not happy. Brian just got home from work. Gotta go pay two bills at mall. Then gotta go do grocery shopping as we won't have time tomorrow after Disneyland. Then dinner. Then I'm hopefully gonna pass out cold til Disneyland time tomorrow. *nods* So mom, if you don't hear from me til say Monday, I'm surely alive despite my silence, I'm just asleep or stalking Mickey... or actually probably Captain Jack as I see him more often at Disneyland than Mickey usually.

Nick Hogan in jail, my brain aliens holding me prisoner

News:
Nick Bollea aka Nick Hogan was sentenced to 8 months in jail + 5 years probation + lost his license for 3 years for the accident that left his friend John Graziano brain damaged. Good. He's lucky he didn't kill him or himself. Hopefully he learns something and stops driving like he's on the track when on the road.

Sleep:
Couldn't sleep until 1. Slept til 8 which is good I guess. Hate though hours for sleep but nice amount since I haven't been sleeping straight through and it's only been 5 or 6 hours tops lately. Lister was laying on my chest when I was falling asleep and I pissed him off because my head was some mutant form of pain alien just stabbing in pain almost causing me to twitch when I reacted he looked at me like stop it, I'm trying to sleep here. Rude cat :P

Brian/Plans:
Brian was talking about picking up dinner after work, then after we eat going to a 10 o'clock show of Iron Man. I'm not usually a comic book super hero kind of girl believe it or not. Just ther Superman ones and now SuperGirl and Batman. Still haven't seen Spiderman, Fantastic 4, etc and no interest But Iron Man looks good and well Robert Downey Jr. can usually make even the worst role seem good. But it's 9:40 and Brian still not home from work with dinner so think that will be tomorrow.

We had talked about Disneyland this weekend as they have the 2fer deal going on and it's only good if you use one by the 22nd and Brian wants to force me to see the Whoopi California thing before they remove it for the park makeover (if it's not gone already). So I suspect we'll go next weekend maybe because I'm pretty sure we'll never pay for CA Adventure (unless the makeover is really good, but that will be years from now). And with the 2fer specials we pay for Disneyland and then during the next month can go to CA Adventure once for free.

Hmm so that means this weekend is dentist (1 filling scheduled, still gotta figure out the others), Fry's, Iron Man, refill Topamax, and really finish Misi's mail I hope.

Dunno why my brain aliens are so busy lately. The one that controls sleep is a mess. Pain alien a mess. General brain alien too my thoughts keep getting all muddled up and I type wrong words and yeah... argh.

Pervy Kitty! :
I was laying on my side on the bed talking to Dutchie, yes, I talk to my cats. All of a sudden I felt Lister jump on the bed and just barely through my pants, it feels like he's pawing my ass. I turn around, he's LICKING it. I quickly turn to face him and have the following conversation "What the... did you just lick my ass? I don't lick your ass, don't lick mine". His response? He licked my chest. Needless to say, I got up and walked away from Mister Pervy Cat!!!

Health:
Well then. I might be too sick for Disneyland tomorrow. So we're scheduling it for Sunday or next weekend. Went and got some Zicam chewables. One dose down, two hours later, already feel a LITTLE better. LA is listed as severe cold and flu warnings on every site that tracks such things, all list the symptoms I have so... BLAH! I'm considerate in that I don't want to get all of Disneyland sick... but not so considerate that I won't go out to get coffee and stuff tomorrow.

Still sick but a little less blah...

When Brian got home and saw how blah I was, he felt bad. It wasn't his fault but he said he wants to make it right. So he's decided that if he doesn't have to work on Saturday we can go to Disneyland or Queen Mary, and if he works Saturday, we can go Sunday. He also said he's going to them at work he really can't miss taking me to those next two Dr. appointments since it is my brain we're talking about, and I really need someone with me + getting there other ways would be a huge issue. I feel a bit better now.

Still... I think giving someone one day off for the holiday and then taking it back the night before = sucky. I can't even imagine how people with husbands/wives/kids can survive this industry. Jobs like his are so limited and not very secure, it's not like they have a choice if that's the career they want to stay in. I know they have tight schedules etc.. just, it sucks. I wonder what's next.

But on the bright side I get to try to sleeeeeeeeeep this cold away all day today so that this weekend I can actually do something fun without feeling like I'm dying. *sniffle sniffle, cough cough*

Nevermind...blah

Brian just called. He has to work tomorrow. No refunds. So I just put $90 on my credit card for nothing.
I'm feeling kind of selfish and boo hoo poor me. heh. I know this job is important to Brian so I can't complain. But I'm starting to hate "Hollywood".

Weekends and holidays are the only time to do stuff which is fine really, especially as I need all week to recover when we do more than grocery shopping etc on the weekends.

But stuff like NO time off at all this week which makes me cancel a semi important doctor appointment then the night before = oh might not be so bad, you might have been able to go afterall.

Or... You get Friday off, so plan and pay for something we can't get a refund on and Thursday night = ohh you work tomorrow and maybe Saturday too, so cancel your holiday weekend plans.

Ugh. For a MONTH it's been next weekend we'll get your hair cut, next weekend we'll go do something fun. And honestly I can't remember the last time we did anything but Best buy, grocery store, pharmacy. And quite honestly I'm good being at home a lot, online with family and friends, and just a once in awhile something really different for a change of pace. I don't get restless often, but I'm pretty much there now. I think my birthday in October was the last time we did anything besides grocery shopping. And now that I've wasted $90 I can't even go spoil myself with a new online purchase! heh.

I mean I'm sick and doing stuff often is too hard on me, but I dunno once every 6 months doing something fun... that would be nice.

BLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

My mommy aka dejablu503 better be able to visit this summer. Even a few window shopping or trips to Walmart would seem thrilling about now.

Muahhahahahha! We were talking of going to the beach or Disneyland or something this weekend. But AHA! Brian gets Friday off thanks to Easter. Warner Brothers has a lot tour we've been wanting to to check out. It only runs M-F. And it's not closed this Friday. Soooo.... I have now reserved 2 tickets for Friday to the Warner Brothers VIP Studio tour!!! It sounds cool. Most of the tour times I tried didn't even have 2 seats left so, I got lucky Brian mentioned to check it out when he did.

I am going to see Cirque Du Soleil's Corteo in August! Muhahahhahahaha! They're the "cheap seats" (which are $55 each) but the other shows I saw were in their cheap seats and still had a decent enough view.

Sleep deprived ramble, err update, of the day...

I tend to ramble when sleep is my biggest problem. I am not sleeping well. I am going to try not to ramble.

Bad: Sleep, not getting enough of it but dead tired, that's a bad combo.

Bad but okay: Brian woke me up 2 hours after I fell asleep, as he was getting out of bed. He sat on / twisted my ankle, and didn't realize he was.... until he did it long enough that it woke up me up whimpering "Ow ow ow ow ow". No damage done other than to my sleep.

Good: Ik ben engelachtig. I learned new Dutch, which is surely as useful as Ik ben moe and ik heb hoofdpijn. Plus I have Mijn Favoriet working on changing the Dutch language for me. heh. I told him he should use his lawyering skills to argue to the Dutchies that they should change how they pronounce the letter g. He's pretending to be working on that now, no wonder why he's mijn favoriet ;) heh. Of course he also told me to keep trying, I suppose even his powers of persuasion aren't enough to make an entire country change their language for one dumb American ;)

Good: Rings from theringlord.com arrived.

Bad: I am too out of it to be trusted with pliers so the pretty rings shall have to wait. But that's ok because it's just bracelet rings, Brian's Christmas present is project #1.

Good: Pirates on DVD this weekend!!! It was sold out when I tried to see it in the theater so I can't wait.

Good: 2007 isn't here yet but so far, in my head anyway, my intention really is to read the Dutchie book! The only chainmail I'd like to figure out is umm I want to try to figure out how to have the Superman logo made into a pattern for myself since I have done no real cross stitch or chainmail for me.

Bad: *sneeze, sniffle, cough*

Good: Even though I rambled, more good than bad... I think?
