Today is "Evaluate Your Life Day." So, tell us: how do you think your life's going so far?
It is? Well I've seen my fair share of blah, death, pain, illnesses (here I might say more than my fair share), crimes, etc. And my fair share of good friends, happy times, etc too. There are people who have it sooooo much better than I do. And there are people who have it sooooo much worse. So overall I can complain on some days and yet at the same time I cannot complain much at all. It's a mixed bag. Not the easiest life and by no means the worst either.
If you could be fluent in any language (that you don't currently read or speak), which one would it be?
Dutch of course. I've slacked and never truly put in the effort to learn it. Bad me. Spanish would be useful too. Maybe some French. German. Um, how about every major language known to man? Just give me a Babel Fish but only if it translates better than the digital version of course ;)
If you had an extra day each month - that no one else had - how would you spend it?
Wondering where the rest of the world disappeared to.

My dad since, well, I can write in this post all I know of him:
He played HS football
He fell asleep at the wheel and that killed him.
I have a few pics of him.
I have some letters he wrote to mom in HS.
I visited his grave when I could.
Yeah that's that but he died young so there's not much to know either. I'm already quite a bit older than he was when he died.

Pffft, what is this summer thing you talk about? I live where it's summer pretty much year round. I can't have a favorite summer dessert or I'd weigh 398290 pounds and I weigh enough as it is ;)

Since they'd disabled embedding on the official video, I decided not to search for the another copy of the actual video but instead I searched for the famous performance of the song... And while we're still on the topic of MJ, his daddy dearest needs to stay out of the out of the public spotlight. He makes me want to throw things at my tv. No wonder why his son ended up such a mess. Hi, my son is dead, but hey who wants to talk about that, big deal who cares about that when I got me a record company to pimp, don't you guys wanna talk about that instead? Asshole. I hope the kids are kept away from that man.

All of the news and politics lately is the economy. Blah blah blah. They're all greedy bastards who don't get it. blah blah blah. Let's take "bail out" money and build new offices, give out bonuses, etc etc etc. We're so stupid. blah blah blah. Rich people divorcing and can't live office millions, boo hoo. Blah blah blah blah. Idiots. All of them. Meanwhile the rest of us cringe over our $300 a month meds, our food prices, gas prices, rent, etc. Whatever, same news every day.
Can only rant about that crap so much. Soooo.... since I've covered it all. Let's trying something new and with my short attention span this will probably happen oohh once...

Who is your hero? Real life hero, comic book hero, movie hero, whatever, don't care, all of thee above. Who is your hero?
Mine = Christopher Reeve and Superman. Yes the man and his character both! How convenient! But if you know me, you already knew that. The man for being so strong after his accident and inspiring / helping so many others. The character because he's friggin Superman, Duh! He's basically the grandpa of comics and he's still going strong. Not so sure about Smallville though -- bad bad Jimmy Olsen, Jerk!

Umm hello? Democratic National Convention anyone? w0000t!
National Organization for Women has already praised Obama/Biden ticket talking about how Hillary was their first choice but Biden is a strong friend to women while dissing McCain.
Hillary will, I'm sure, somehow find it in her to give the speech of her life because she knows if she wants a chance to run again she has to convince her psycho supporters to stop being bitches and convert to Obama now because if they do some protest vote for McCain in November, she'll take the blame when we lose and she does NOT want that.
Biden is going to stay on script I'm sure, but they will appreciate his big mouth so his script will allow him to be mister attack dog.
Bill won't likely stay on script and will probably be some of the old Bill Clinton I loved and not the jerkoff we saw during Hillary's campaign.
Michelle will be free to show off a little of what's been lost of her this campaign - the funny mom and wife, who keeps the kids and hubby real despite all of this "rock star" status stuff that McCain and others push so much. You really only see that side of her if you watch the news a lot but it's clear when she speaks she keeps their homelife down to earth and rather "real".
And Obama himself... He'll get back to what made him popular in the first place. The anniversary of the "I Have a Dream" speech won't be lost on him. He's gonna go out there and speak like he's never spoken before. He has to and he knows it. I wouldn't be surprised if this speech has been worked on since the day he announced he was running for president. It won't be another I have a dream speech, but it will be one that McCain will NEVER be able to compete with....
Speaking of McCain -- since he uses the term "My Friends" more in two minutes than everyone on the planet uses: the, a, and, it, we, I, she, he, they, thank you, you're welcome, please, uh, um, is, what - in a day, I can no longer hear "My friend" without cringing or just flat out wanting to slap someone as it always sounds so phony now. I'm sick of "My friend" or "My Friends" , earlier in the campaign I had read he was going to use it less, he didn't. LIES. I have heard "My friends" so often that the word "friends" is almost meaningless now. He's abused it, seriously. Remember when Biden said Rudy only mentioned three things in a sentence -- a noun, a verb, and 9/11? Well McCain only mentions his friends. "And my friends, I don't have to tell you my friends, that this, my friends, is bad my friends, because my friends, we, my friends." He's still freaking doing it and I want to throw up all over his friends already.
