RIP Estelle Getty.

The Census Bureau plans to edit forms turned in by legally married same sex couples for the 2010 census - their status will be altered to state unmarried partners, even though they're LEGALLY MARRIED!!!

I won $5 yesterday + got 12 Maxxed Energy pops + a Maxxed Energy Pops t-shirt in the mail (free). Free money and stuff is good.

I've slept a lot the last two days, and still can't feel awake. Think brain aliens are grumpy.

ugh

Body feels like it is shutting down. Head feels funky. It's only 6:30. But no sleep. I'm crashing. Think I'll go sleep like 20 hours. So woozy, can't function. Feel drunk and in pain and just ugh. Told Brian if I do manage to fall asleep don't even wake me up for my shot like he always does when I crash and need to catch up on sleep because then I'm up for whole night and don't sleep again til next day. My body can skip one day of that medicine, I'll live.

$5 a gallon coming soon? On May 27th I posted that gas prices were, on average, "$4.30 9/10th" around here -- though the station by our house was $4.03. Well here we are June 7th and those $4.30 9/10th stations are now $4.59 9/10 - $4.69 9/10th today. Enjoy, $5 isn't far off. Hell maybe we'll copy my friends, the Dutchies soon and be at $11 or so a gallon. The news said that scooters that are freeway approved are on backorder at local stores as they cost about 3k but cost virtually nothing to fill up and you can go 100+ miles on that $6 or so tank of gas. Guess instead of playing the spot the Prius game I'll soon have to switch to the spot the scooter game.

Anyway, headache... gonna try the sleep thing, didn't get enough of it today and tomorrow is Universal Studios day. They're open 10-7 I think? And we plan to go around noon or so, but Brian tends to be late so more like 1 I bet. But it takes me forever to fall asleep, I'm way behind on sleep, and my head is killing me, so hmm let's see if I can sleeeep now. 11:30. I so rarely sleep at night, this should be fun,.

24 hours

I've been up for 24 hours now. Ugh. MS not happy. Brian just got home from work. Gotta go pay two bills at mall. Then gotta go do grocery shopping as we won't have time tomorrow after Disneyland. Then dinner. Then I'm hopefully gonna pass out cold til Disneyland time tomorrow. *nods* So mom, if you don't hear from me til say Monday, I'm surely alive despite my silence, I'm just asleep or stalking Mickey... or actually probably Captain Jack as I see him more often at Disneyland than Mickey usually.

Iron Man and previews

Hmm I'm behind it seems, I had no idea that Edward Norton was playing The Incredible Hulk. Interesting. Not interested in the Hulk, but I like Edward Norton. Interesting choice...

Preview for The Happening = *yawn* oh some kind of attack that kills people and loud noises are scary. BORING.

The Love Guru preview = looked like Austin Powers and Mini me teamed up and created alter egos, kinda cute looking but not what I'd pay $12.50+ to see, and yeah OMFG movies at The Bridge now cost that much on a Saturday night (no idea what matinées cost).

So basically the only movie coming up anytime soon I'm sure we'll see in theaters = The Dark Knight. It was the first time Brian saw the preview. He decided if he saw bad guys dressed up like Joker's posse of guys, he'd wet himself :P

Now onto Iron Man. I liked it enough, Robert Downey, Jr. has always rocked. They clearly set it up for a sequel, no doubt about it -- one line just before the big fight scene screamed there will be another. Brian pointed out the one huge huge problem with the plot but since this is the first time in ages I'm seeing a movie while it's still in a theater I won't point it out here, I'm sure if you saw the movie you know what it is and I just figure superhero kind of movies are allowed such unrealistic holes in plots or they just spent so much time on everything else that expanding upon this sort of important aspect wasn't possible thanks to time constraints.

Me = tired and sore. Need about 20 hours of sleep but we did everything today so all I have to do Sunday = work on Misi art. Next weekend is Disneyland unless Brian has to work I think. zzzzzzzzzzzzz

Snot put + randomness

Since Mijn Favoriet and I seem to exchange cheesy games that we find now and then, I'm sharing with you all his latest find: Snot Put. I tossed the snot 3656m. w00t!

My day = slept, sent Meneer Bot voice spam, banned some cheaters on MM (love ones that announce on irc to everyone they're cheating), talked to Mijn Favoriet briefly and Meneer Bot longer, worked on Misi's mail - decided it wasn't right and started over so it's looking better now, and had to stay up til now (9 am) to be sure Brian got up to make a deadline after he slept for 2 hours. I think Brian's got about 8 hours of sleep total this week maybe. He's going to be sleeping lots once this gets turned in, which is fine as I'm HOPING I can crash now. Then it'll be coffffffffffeeeee night instead of day I think as we both need sleep. zzzzzzzzzzz.

Was going to see about getting one filling done we can afford now, but feel so crappy I don't think I am up for it so will just schedule it instead. Crappy because was a bad MS week, sinuses going nuts, can't seem to stay warm, etc. Even my shot went bad, didn't seem that bad but for first time ever I got to feel the "it's not a big deal" feels like you're having a panic attack or heart attack side effect. Only lasted a few seconds, but woah. zzzzzzzzz

I should be asleep

Dentist at 9 am. so I should be sleeping (get to have tooth shaved down and mold made for cap/crown/whatever you prefer to call it). Luckily, after about a week and a half of "normal" sleep, I saw my sleep slipping back to my normal. After the cold my exhaustion levels are just ugh and my sleep is double ugh. So I managed to just keep going back to sleep every time I woke up today, yesterday, whatever... until 5 pm or so. If I don't sleep tonight it won't be the end of the world.

If you wanted to donate to Keegan or Karina for the MS walk, I'm not even posting Keegan's link for now... he's reached his $500 goal between mom's friends and mine (thanks to any who donated) and raised his goal to $700 - since he'll be 7 one his upcoming bday he thought that he needed a new goal. Politics:
Rumours floating around that Obama would offer Edwards the Attorney General position if he's elected. If it's true I hope Obama wins. Edwards could probably just go into the private/non-profit sector and do more but frankly I'm such a strong supporter of his I think it'd be a shame to see him leave Government, he's one of the few good big party guys we have left who would work FOR us.

TV:
Smallville was new and is getting a bit darker though it had some cheesy moments. This is to be the last season with Lex and we're running out of episodes... hmmm. I keep hoping it means we'll move onto the Batman/Superman friendship of the comic books, but I read there are legal issues so we'll likely never see Batman on the series. Also comic book related, they announced Chloe would become a regular and have since retracted that comment, bummer, I like her.

About time someone considers them the stalkers they are. Brian and I find it hilarious the papazzari in that video are asking them to get the camera out of their faces. Also stalking isn't a 1st amendment right, thanks.

I did it! Just kidding:
On Sunday Dutch TV will be airing some sort of confession by Joran van der Sloot relating to the disappearance of Natalee Holloway. He of course now says he lied on the hidden camera confession. Yeah, I always go around confessing to something I didn't do too.

For the Kitty Owners:
OMG! Looks so much better than a litter box. Sadly our apartment bathroom doesn't have a layout where that would work but I want that anyway. The Littermaid self cleaning litterbox changed it's design from the original one we used to have and now doesn't work very well.

Me:
I have a dentist appointment at 11am. So tired. Guess I'll try to sleep. Takes me forever to fall asleep even when this tired so this won't be fun. I woke up late today and planned to stay up as waking up before noon with my sleep "patterns" is virtually impossible so I stay awake for morning appointments and then sleep after. I just can't stop yawning and Brian is good at waking me up when I don't get enough sleep + I am a master at getting ready to go in a rush. Get to do it again Thursday for Neuro appt, but that one is way early so I have to stay up for it.

Sleep could wait.. until now.
I was starting to write an entry about Mijn Favoriet, he's the main reason I'm still up (him and the fact that I slept a lot yesterday to make up for my recent lack of sleep). But what I wanted to express wasn't really coming to me... so instead I'll just say, I'm alive, I'm tired, my MS brain fog is still semi here and made worse by some girlie issues. And now I need sleep...

Maybe some other times the thoughts I was trying to put here today that I failed at.
This weekend = hopefully starting to learn a bit about Wordpress.
